Solar Module
120-135W POLY SOLAR MODULE

150-180W MONO SOLAR MODULE

170-190W POLY SOLAR MODULES

What is the difference between a solar panel and a solar module one might ask? These two elements in the field of photovoltaic technology-the terms of solar module and solar panel are a great confusion and people often get these two mixed up incorrectly!
Firstly, a solar cell, also called a photovoltaic cell or photoelectric cell, uses the photovoltaic effect to convert the energy of light directly into electricity.
Solar cells lined up are used to make solar modules which are used to capture energy from sunlight. When multiple of modules are assembled together resulting in integrated group of modules all oriented in one plane or also known as the solar panel.
The electrical energy generated form solar modules referred to as solar power is an example of solar energy.
The main difference between a solar module and solar panel is that a module cannot be assembled into smaller reusable parts or components in the field whereas a solar panel is assembled from and can be disassembled back into a stack of solar modules.
